This course also focuses on giving the experience to the doctors by teaching them and giving them the chance of studying the structure of the human body.

Eligibility Criteria to Take Admission In MD MS Courses Through Management Quota
- A minimum of 50% marks in an MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India is required.
- Aspirants must have completed their compulsory rotatory internship by March 31st of that particular year.
- Candidates are required to possess a permanent or provisional license to practice medicine. This registration is supposed to be issued by MCI (Medical Council of India). Original documents must be presented both in the examination and the admission process.
- Qualifying the NEET-PG Exam
- There is no upper and lower age limit for applying to the NEET-PG entrance examinations. NEET has not mentioned any range of age for a candidate so in that case, any candidate who satisfies the other eligibility norms can apply for the entrance exams.

About MD/MS admission through management Quota
1. Is NEET compulsory for MD and MS courses?
It is not possible to get admission in PG courses without NEET-PGin India. Doctors who wish to pursue further medical studies in India must appear for the NEET-PG exam. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts the exam once a year in computer-based mode.MD/MS admission without NEET-PG is only possible in Nepal. NEET-PG is not required if someone wishes to study PG abroad.
2. How much does a MD seat cost?
In order to study or complete MD course you first need to finish your MBBS with a proper degree. This course is taken as post graduation and its duration is for 2 years. Depending on the college and the opted course the total money required for completing the MD course is depended. If one gets admission in government seat it will approximately cost 10,000-1,00,000 , semi-government seat will cost up to 10 lakhs whereas in private and deemed colleges it will cost you around 10 lakhs-25 lakhs for clinical branches. However, direct admission in MD/MS course is possible –the only thing required is to pass the NEET-PG exam.
3. Is there management quota in NEET-PG?
One can apply for medical seats through management quota but he will be able to get the seat through the stray vacancy counselling. Direct admission in PG medical is practicable as after completing all the rounds of counselling, maximum no. of seats remain empty in private and deemed universities which are later allotted to the students.

If we consider the NEET-PG 2021(last year) marks it was 302 for general category whereas for SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories it was 265 out of 800 marks. It is a relief to know that one can get direct admission in MD/MS through management quota if he/she clears the exam with the minimum passing marks.
5. What is the reservation system for NEET-PG?
Each state has different system of reservation system. As per the update, 27% reservation for OBCs and 10% reservation for economically weaker section in the All-India Quota (AIQ) scheme for undergraduate and postgraduate medical/dental courses will be provided.
6. Is there any age limit for NEET-PG?
There are no upper and lower age limits for applying to the NEET-PG entrance examinations. 8. What is the mode of examination of NEET-PG?

The application form will be available in the first week of February and the last date to apply online for the NEET-PG 2022 form is third week of February and that NEET-PG 2022 exam will be on 12th March, 2022 results should be available by April. 12. What is the maximum time allotted to complete the NEET-PG exam?
According to NEET-PG exam pattern, the maximum time to complete the exam will be 3 hours 30 minutes. There will be a total of 200 multiple-choice questions of 800 marks in the NEET-PG exam. In this exam, one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer and four marks will be awarded for every correct answer. No marks will be awarded or deducted for questions not attempted.
13. What is the application fee of NEET-PG?
As per the latest update, the application fee for NEET-PG 2022 is ₹5015 for general/unreserved category and ₹3835 for SC/ST/OBC category (including GST).
14. How many times can one attempt for NEET-PG?
You don’t need to worry now. You can make n number of attempts as there is no age limit. Getting direct admission in medical PG through management quota is achievable if one just clears the exams by satisfying all the other eligibility criteria of NEET-PG.
15. Is NEET-PG tough to crack?

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts the exam once a year in computer-based mode. The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG will be conducted by the NBE from 2019 onwards. Earlier this test was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till 2018.
20. What is the difference between NEET-UG and NEET-PG?

25. Can I get govt. seat in 250 marks?
